But there was still disagreement over how Nyad's swim would be categorized in the record books.

I have a scale that not only measures fat but water as well. I noticed that I was starting to retain alot of water, and 2 days later I had what seemed to be an unusual amount of saliva. Soon after (like a few more days) I started to feel sick and achy all over. At this point I hadn't even missed my cycle. I decided to go out and buy both regular and digital tests. The regular one only showed 1 dark line, and the other I had to really look for like a ghost line. I thought it was just my imagination, so I waited until the next morning to take the other regular test with my first morning urine. But same thing, only this time, the other line was more like a shadow. The next day (which now would've been 5 days before my missed period) I decided to take the digital, and it read clear as day, PREGNANT! I called my doc took another urine test and also a blood test. They called that night to tell me congratulations. I was still 3 days before my missed period. I was literally only 3 weeks along. Now I am 37 weeks. It was a great thing to find out so early, but it has made for a super long pregnancy. LOL!

I've never heard of implantation bleeding but I can tell you as far as pregnancy you do have sore nipples and whitish discharge. My sister took three tests that all came out negative and she was actually pregnant had to get a blood test to confirm it so it is possible that you are pregnant. I would wait till you miss your period for sure and retest then if you still have all the symptoms and no period its probably a good thing to make a doctors appt.Hope this helped and good luck!

Pregnancy symptoms? I've never been pregnant so I can't answer this. Hahahahahahah! Just Kidding! lol! I love messin with you! Actually, it may still be EARLY to have pregnancy symptoms right now. You have period symptoms a week before your period is do? Hmmm, I mean in a way it all depends on you. Like do your breasts usually get tender and sore during your period? If they do, then no, that wouldn't be a pregnancy sign for you. I mean like period like symptoms that you don't normally get will probably occur due to pregnancy obviously. It all depends on you. I mean if you don't get a positive in your first pregnancy test then wait a couple days and take it again. Sometimes you recieve a false positive, also, make sure you take your test FIRST thing in the morning when you wake up, mainly so you have fresh urine to take the test. The results will so-to-say be "stronger".

What a great question! Honestly, I'd like a book geared towards women who live in rural or remote areas. I'm currently pregnant with my first child and living in my hometown, which is located in northern Canada (the Arctic for lack of a better term). Every pregnancy book I've read gives great emphasis to the importance of choice; choosing a good doctor or midwife, writing a birth plan and picking a great prenatal class. For women who don't have these options, being reminded that you don't have them is incredibly frustrating! I would love to have the services of a great and experienced midwife, write an extensive birth plan and attend a Bradley Method birth class. Unfortunately, I live in a place where I will have absolutely no control over who delivers my child (whomever's on call, just like nearly every other woman up here), have no choice over my delivery and labour and have only one option for a prenatal class. A book that provided information and support for women despite and because of their lack of control over these choices would be a God send for so many women who don't have them!

Almost right away, that is a pregnancy symptom!!! But then again every 10-15 minutes in the beginning seems extreme and you might have bladder issues, have they done a scan on your bladder you're probably not emptying it all the way when you go (i have that problem) it feels like you do but there's urine still in there and it doesn't hit you until minutes after you've already gone. And are you on your feet a lot, that plays a factor...it's called gravity...i have to go about that much when i'm on my feet a lot!! Just ask your doctor.
